“Builders Choice”

Dear Resident or business owner, 

The Boston Spa Scarecrow Trail will take place from Wed 8th to Tues 14th July. 

The Trail will cover Boston Spa,  Thorp Arch & Clifford.

The theme this year is “Builders Choice”,  in other words, you choose. The world and life is your canvas.

It has been suggested that the scarecrows should be made of straw, alternatively use materials which fit into the category: “Reduce, reuse or recycle”, but this is not mandatory.

There will be 1st and 2nd prizes for the builder of the best scarecrow characters or creation, the winners will be determined by public vote.  There will also be 1st and 2nd prizes for entrants getting the most characters or creations correct.

All entries to be in by Friday 15th May and you will receive an email confirmation that your entry has been received. 

DISPLAY PACK DELIVERY: We will deliver your numbered entry card to be displayed alongside your creation and a letter with the start and end dates by Fri 29th May.

All Scarecrows are to be in position by Wednesday 8th July and left on display until 8pm Tuesday 14th July  Once the public votes are in, the winners will be contacted by phone, and a printed list will be on display in Costcutter, Monroes and Facebook.
